Kayak Adventure

Cape Town

Activity Description

Cape Kayaks & Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. Our shop is conveniently located at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored on the beach. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay and then we return to the starting point.

The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what The Mother City has to offer.

The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens, and one of the favorite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside (Benguela) dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

Customer Reviews

It was a wonderful experience; I love it and highly recommend it. ?? - Fernando

A friend and I participated in the World Ocean day plastic clean up. It was only my second time sea kayaking, but what an incredibly special and tranquil experience. We were accompanied by a seal who was feasting on a ray, dolphins playing and even penguins out on a morning swim. Tracy is an amazing guide, and as my friend put it: a bucket list experience! - Marguerite

We had an amazing experience, dolphins swimming right next to the kayaks and doing big jumps! The whole experience is very well organised and the guides were great. - Glenn

I loved every moment - it was truly a life highlight! Leander & Noah were excellent guides, it was a perfect day - sunny & windless - and we were blessed to be joined by a pod of a few hundred dolphins! Wow!!! Top of the list for any visitor to Cape Town - or even if you're a local! - Tracy

We had a great trip out on the water with Kayak Adventure. The guys were really friendly and we saw dolphins and seals whilst taking in the beautiful views of Cape Town. Highly recommend this an exciting and different way to experience Cape Town. - Jen
