Kayak Adventure

Cape Town

Activity Description

Cape Kayaks & Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. Our shop is conveniently located at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored on the beach. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay , and then we return to the starting point.

The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what the Mother City has to offer.

The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens, and to one of the favorite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside’s dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

Customer Reviews

What a spectacular experience we had kayaking! Our guides Tracy, Deidre and John were great at pointing out all the sea life, answering questions and were very friendly and keen to make our trip memorable. We had fantastic weather and were treated to the endemic dolphins living in the area that came really close. The seals were basking in the sun and putting on a real show for us and we even saw a huge sunfish. This is a must do experience when visiting Mouille Point and you can't go wrong with Cape Kayak Adventures! They even take photos of the whole trip and you get to keep those memories forever! Thanks guys!' - Lauren Henegan

Great experience! A must do when in Cape Town! - Jared Laljit

We had a great morning out with the group on the 31st of December - the guides were very helpful and informative. We saw a number of different ocean animals - dolphins, penguins, seal etc - and had good conditions / sunny & warm weather with little wind. Surprisingly big swell for this time of year - which made for some fun paddling. Would strongly recommend to friends and family. - Tom Horne
