Cape Kayaks & Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. Our shop is conveniently located at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored on the beach. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay and then we return to the starting point.
The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what The Mother City has to offer.
The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens, and one of the favorite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside (Benguela) dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

CAPE KAYAK ADVENTURES
I just wanted to get out in the water early for a bit of exercise and to help with jet lag - but this trip was completely fantastic and so much more. I shared a top quality double kayak with an incredibly knowledgeable guide and we paddled through amazing scenery, kelp beds, enjoyed sunrise on the water and saw dolphins and lots of other wildlife. It was so good I tried to book again before the end of my trip - but the swells were too big. Book this the second you can in case it needs a weather change. The experience is also incredibly good value for money compared to any experience like it in New Zealand and also the few other experiences I went on in Cape Town. - Leila
We recently had an incredible kayaking experience with Cape Kayaking Adventures in Cape Town, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, the morning was perfectly executed, thanks to the excellent conditions, top-notch equipment, and a superb guide. Our guides were a standout feature of the experience. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly paddling along with breathtaking views of Table Mountain. We also had the chance to observe local wildlife, including playful seals and dolphins, which added an extra layer of excitement to the trip. - Leigh-Ann
It was a wonderful experience; I love it and highly recommend it. ?? - Fernando
A friend and I participated in the World Ocean day plastic clean up. It was only my second time sea kayaking, but what an incredibly special and tranquil experience. We were accompanied by a seal who was feasting on a ray, dolphins playing and even penguins out on a morning swim. Tracy is an amazing guide, and as my friend put it: a bucket list experience! - Marguerite
We had an amazing experience, dolphins swimming right next to the kayaks and doing big jumps! The whole experience is very well organised and the guides were great. - Glenn
